The duties include:
- Conducting inspections, repairs, and defect diagnostics on HGVs, trailers, PSV, and vans
- Performing minor bodywork repairs such as panel replacements and windscreen repairs
- Assisting with breakdowns primarily for fleet customers, with no motorway roadside repairs involved
- Using state-of-the-art diagnostics equipment within a well-equipped workshop
- Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards
- Managing workload efficiently to meet repair and inspection deadlines
Requirements for a HGV Technician:
- Proven experience as a HGV Technician or Mobile HGV Technician
- Relevant qualifications and licences, ideally a Class 1 licence or willingness to obtain one
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills on modern commercial vehicles
- Ability to work flexibly within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Professional attitude focused on delivering quality service and customer satisfaction
