The duties include:

  • Conducting inspections, repairs, and defect diagnostics on HGVs, trailers, PSV, and vans
  • Performing minor bodywork repairs such as panel replacements and windscreen repairs
  • Assisting with breakdowns primarily for fleet customers, with no motorway roadside repairs involved
  • Using state-of-the-art diagnostics equipment within a well-equipped workshop
  • Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards
  • Managing workload efficiently to meet repair and inspection deadlines

Requirements for a HGV Technician:

  • Proven experience as a HGV Technician or Mobile HGV Technician
  • Relevant qualifications and licences, ideally a Class 1 licence or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills on modern commercial vehicles
  • Ability to work flexibly within a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional attitude focused on delivering quality service and customer satisfaction
