Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Principal Thermal Mechanical Engineer on a contract basis to join their team in Cowes. This role involves working on the design, integration, and testing of complex mechanical systems within maritime services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of thermal management systems, including heat exchangers
  • Conduct Computational Fluid Dynamics and Finite Element Analysis
  • Oversee the design, build, test, and deployment of composite structural materials
  • Serve as the Mechanical Design Authority for Future Radar Products
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Standards and apply them effectively
  • Engage in all engineering lifecycle phases, from requirements capture to in-service support
  • Provide subject matter expertise in Thermal Mechanical Systems and related mechanical domains
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives

Job Requirements

  • Experience in the design and implementation of thermal management systems
