OB OPPORTUNITY: General Operative / FLT Counterbalance Operator

Location: Redditch

Salary: £12.98 - £16.23 per hour (Shift dependent)

Position: Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm

About the Role

Are you looking for a stable role with a well-established manufacturing company in Redditch? We are currently recruiting a General Operative / FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a clean, safe, and structured production environment. Early Finish Every Friday on Day Shift!

Shift Patterns & Pay

  • Day Shift: £12.98 per hour
  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
  • Friday: 7:00am - 12:00pm (Half day!)
  • Late Shift: £16.23 per hour
  • Monday to Thursday: 3:45pm - 2:00am

Shift Flexibility

We welcome applications from candidates who can commit to either shift pattern. However, candidates who are fully flexible and able to work both shifts will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operating a Counterbalance FLT to move, load, and unload stock
  • Working on production lines packing, bottling, and labelling finished goods
  • Following health, safety, and product handling procedures
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within warehouse and production areas

Candidate Requirements

  • A valid in-date FLT Counterbalance licence (RTITB / ITSSAR / AITT)
  • Previous experience in a factory, production, or warehouse environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team
  • Comfortable working in a regulated chemical batching and blending environment
