Counterbalance Forklift Driver Birmingham (B26) £12.71 per hour 4pm-Midnight Monday-Friday Ongoing Work

GI Group are recruiting on behalf of a leading logistics company based in the B26 area of Birmingham. We are looking for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their busy warehouse team on an ongoing basis.

The Role

  • Safely operating a counterbalance forklift truck
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Moving, stacking and relocating palletised goods in the warehouse
  • Assisting with picking and put-away of stock
  • Following all site health & safety and warehouse procedures
  • Working as part of the team to meet daily targets and deadlines

Hours & Pay

  • Hours: 4:00pm-12:00am (midnight)
  • Days: Monday to Friday
  • Pay: £12.71 per hour
  • Type: Ongoing work with potential for long-term opportunities for the right candidate

Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
  • Minimum 12 months recent experience operating a counterbalance FLT in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Good understanding of safe working practices and warehousing processes
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work the full afternoon/evening shift pattern
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
