The role of CoSec Team Assistant involves providing comprehensive administrative support to the Company Secretariat team within the public sector. This position requires excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the CoSec inbox efficiently, including drafting responses, prioritising urgent matters, categorising emails, and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Respond to internal and external queries promptly, escalating high-priority issues to senior management where necessary.
  • Coordinate IT requests and oversee new starter onboarding processes, including induction planning.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for the team while ensuring compliance with organisational policies.
  • Organise Board and Committee meetings, managing all related logistics and administrative support.
  • Coordinate catering requirements for meetings and events as required.
  • Process expenses, maintain accurate records, and manage purchasing activities in line with internal procedures.
  • Support the CoSec leadership team with project coordination, regulatory returns, and additional administrative responsibilities as needed.

Profile:

  • A strong background in administrative support, ideally within the public sector or similar environment.
  • Familiarity with company secretarial duties and governance frameworks.
  • Previous experience of managing project plans would be an advantage.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in using office software and document management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
