You will be joining a well-established contractor operating across the UK and Ireland, recognised for delivering high-quality commercial, residential and hospitality projects. With a strong pipeline of work and continued expansion in the UK market, the company is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support its growing commercial team. Your new role

Based in Cookstown, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of major construction projects, primarily located in the UK. You will oversee the full financial lifecycle of each scheme, from early cost planning and procurement through to contract administration and final account. The role involves regular collaboration with project teams, clients and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and profitably. Due to the location of key projects, the position requires one overnight stay per week in the UK.

What you’ll need to succeed

You should hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline and bring substantial experience working in a similar role, ideally with a main contractor. Strong commercial awareness, excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex, multi-site projects are essential. You will be confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders and comfortable working both independently and as part of a wider commercial team. Flexibility to travel and stay overnight in the UK once per week is required.
