About the Role

We are seeking two passionate and practical Construction Skills Teachers to join a dynamic education and training setting in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by supporting learners to develop hands-on vocational skills and prepare for future employment in the construction industry. You will be delivering engaging, practical lessons to learners who may benefit from a more vocational and supportive approach to education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching in construction-related subjects (e.g., basic carpentry, brickwork, health & safety)
  • Plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons tailored to learner needs
  • Support students in developing employability and life skills
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and wider teams

About You

  • Experience in construction (essential)
  • Teaching qualification (desirable but not essential - training can be provided)
  • Experience working with young people, ideally in education, PRU, or alternative provision
  • Patient, resilient, and approachable
  • Passionate about helping learners succeed through vocational education
