Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of construction projects across a varied portfolio, including schools, residential housing, and commercial developments. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership on site, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and trades to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day site operations across education, residential, and commercial projects
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Ensure all works are carried out in line with health & safety regulations and company standards
- Monitor programme progress and ensure key milestones are achieved
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks throughout the build process
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders effectively
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
- Resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently to avoid delays
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction
- Strong background delivering projects across schools, residential housing, and commercial builds
- Excellent understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and site management
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card preferred), and First Aid certification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and safety
