We are working with a well-established main contractor to appoint a Project Manager to deliver construction projects across Yorkshire. Operating within their build division, you will take full responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to handover. Schemes typically span commercial, industrial, education and healthcare sectors, with a focus on quality delivery, programme certainty, and client satisfaction.
They are looking for a confident Project Manager who can lead from the front, managing site teams and stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Managing projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors
- Driving programme and ensuring delivery to key milestones
- Managing budgets, risks, and overall project performance
- Ensuring high standards of health & safety and quality
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Overseeing project reporting and commercial performance
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment
- Background delivering new build projects across commercial or industrial sectors
- Strong leadership and site management capability
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of project finances
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive programme
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid
