The Role
You’ll carry out electrical repairs, safety checks, and planned maintenance inside domestic social housing properties, ensuring tenants’ homes remain safe, functional, and compliant. No two days are the same - this is a rewarding role supporting vulnerable residents and making a real difference in the community.
Key Duties
- Reactive and planned electrical repairs in occupied properties
- Fault finding & diagnostics
- Installing sockets, lighting, extractor fans & general electrical components
- Carrying out EICRs and safety checks
- Rewires and electrical upgrades (as required)
- Ensuring all work meets current electrical regulations
- Providing excellent customer service to tenants
What You’ll Need
- 18th Edition qualification
- 2391 / 2394/95 (or equivalent) desirable
- Experience within social housing or domestic maintenance
- Strong fault-finding and testing skills
- A friendly, customer‑focused approach
- Full UK Driving Licence
