Connect2socialwork is currently recruiting for 1-2 Commissioning Reviews Social Workers to join a busy Adults Commissioning team in London. This is a great opportunity for experienced practitioners looking to step into a role with oversight, impact, and supervisory responsibility.
Role Overview
- Rate: £32 per hour
- Start: ASAP
- Working Pattern: Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake person-centred reviews across commissioned services, ensuring needs are met and services remain high quality and cost effective.
- Ensure compliance with Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding frameworks.
- Monitor placements, identifying where changes or alternative provisions are required.
- Work closely with commissioning, brokerage, and provider teams to improve outcomes.
- Support market development and service improvement initiatives.
Additional Responsibilities
- Provide supervision to 2 NQ Reviewing Officers.
- Contribute to efficiency savings and budget management.
- Analyse service delivery and contribute to commissioning plans and recommendations.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience within a Commissioning Reviews Team.
- Strong understanding of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding.
- Experience of strengths-based, person-centred practice.
- Ability to manage complex reviews, provider relationships, and cost negotiations.
- Previous supervisory experience is essential.
