Commissioning Reviews Social Workers Needed

Connect2socialwork is currently recruiting for 1-2 Commissioning Reviews Social Workers to join a busy Adults Commissioning team in London. This is a great opportunity for experienced practitioners looking to step into a role with oversight, impact, and supervisory responsibility.

Role Overview

  • Rate: £32 per hour
  • Start: ASAP
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake person-centred reviews across commissioned services, ensuring needs are met and services remain high quality and cost effective.
  • Ensure compliance with Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding frameworks.
  • Monitor placements, identifying where changes or alternative provisions are required.
  • Work closely with commissioning, brokerage, and provider teams to improve outcomes.
  • Support market development and service improvement initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision to 2 NQ Reviewing Officers.
  • Contribute to efficiency savings and budget management.
  • Analyse service delivery and contribute to commissioning plans and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience within a Commissioning Reviews Team.
  • Strong understanding of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding.
  • Experience of strengths-based, person-centred practice.
  • Ability to manage complex reviews, provider relationships, and cost negotiations.
  • Previous supervisory experience is essential.
