A leading construction and interiors consultancy has an immediate requirement for an experienced commercial manager to carry out a turnkey commercial role as a member of a team, taking a fast-track retail or leisure fit-out project from estimating stage through sub-contractor procurement, cost management to final account settlement, effectively taking total financial control of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a turnkey commercial role on fast-track retail or leisure fit-out projects from estimating through sub-contractor procurement, cost management to final account settlement, taking total financial control.
  • Deliver multiple projects simultaneously under framework / Schedule of Rates, with project values from £100,000 to £1,000,000 and durations of 3–8 weeks.
  • Produce feasibility costs, tender returns, sub-contractor procurement, project cost reporting and final accounts for projects across the UK for blue-chip clients.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experienced commercial manager or QS in shopfitting with principal contractor side experience (not client or consultant).
  • Background in retail and leisure fit-out and refurbishment.
  • Experience in fast-track fitting-out projects.
  • Knowledge of principal contractor role, shopfitting, retail and leisure sectors.

Location & Compensation:

  • Location: Lichfield, WS13 6HE
  • Salary: Circa £60,000 – £70,000 + car and benefits.
