We are recruiting for a fast-growing engineering services business who are growing 25% annually. Due to their continued growth, they are looking for a Commercial Gas Engineer to work with their portfolio of commercial clients in servicing, callouts and small projects.
Their client base is all commercial; however, due to the nature of some of their contracts, they have the need to maintain and repair domestic systems on some sites, such as schools where the staff may have houses or flats as part of their portfolio.
Responsibilities- To carry out reactive and maintenance of heating installations of all types in commercial buildings.
- The installation and maintenance of heating & plumbing, mainly on commercial sites.
- To undertake fault-finding diagnosis, problem-solving and analysis of plant operation pertaining to the operation and efficacy of all HVAC plant.
- To be flexible with mobile work around the M25. The vast majority of work is within the M25, but there may be occasional work in Home Counties.
- To be on call out every 1 in 8 weeks.
- Domestic & commercial gas certificate.
- Relevant experience.
- Understanding of HVAC systems.
- Installation of boilers and gas burners.
Salary will be negotiable, ranging from £52,000 to £60,000 depending on experience. This role includes benefits such as:
- Company van + fuel card.
- Company phone.
- Company tools & testers.
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays.
- £150 standby charge and 4 hours minimum overtime pay for all callouts.
- Overtime paid at 1.5x Mon-Sat & 2x on Sun or bank holidays.
