Covering the Sheffield to Peterborough and North Norfolk patch, home-based but required to visit the Head office at Rubery at least once a month. Salary £65-70,000 per annum plus car allowance and bonus. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Insurance professional to join a growing and ambitious insurance business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong client relationships, managing a varied portfolio of commercial clients, and delivering exceptional customer service within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing existing client relationships, supporting new business activity, and contributing to the continued growth and development of the commercial division.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing and developing a portfolio of commercial and mid-market clients.
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients and understanding their evolving insurance requirements.
- Delivering high levels of service and tailored insurance solutions.
- Supporting new business opportunities and contributing to business growth.
- Working closely with internal service teams to ensure efficient onboarding and ongoing account management.
- Supporting the development and management of affinity partnerships.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurer partners.
- Providing technical and operational support to colleagues where required.
- Contributing to process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years' experience within Commercial Insurance.
- Proven experience managing a commercial book of business.
- Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
- Experience working within a sales and customer-focused environment.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Acturis.
- Progress towards CII qualifications.
