Our client, a logistics company is looking for a Security Personnel/3.5t driver to join their team in Colnbrook. This is a Monday to Friday role, 09:00, with optional overtime available. We provide full on-the-job training, so while experience in secure logistics is desirable, it’s not essential.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carrying out secure collections and deliveries in line with operating procedures
- Ensuring all goods are packed, secured, and documented correctly
- Operating a company vehicle (3.5t) and conducting daily vehicle checks
- Liaising with clients and external security partners during collections and deliveries
- Using a handheld device to track and record movements
- Maintaining a clean, professional appearance and upholding high standards of customer service
- Following all company security and health & safety procedures
- Reporting any issues or incidents promptly to your manager
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
- Hold a full UK driving Licence
- Strong communication skills, with good verbal and written English
- Able to prioritise and organise own workload to tight deadlines
- Basic IT/smartphone proficiency
- Be a team player in the transport team as well as working alongside all other colleagues
- Professional appearance and team player attitude
Desirable:
- Experience transporting valuable goods
- Experience driving 3.5t vehicles
- Knowledge of the local area and Central London
