My Annesley based clients are looking for Cold Storage Order Pickers to join a growing Pick/Pack operation on a temp to perm basis. Ideal candidates should have experience working within a Warehouse or Production environments, however this is not essential as full training will be given.
You will be trained to use company equipment to pick and process your orders, stack and wrap pallets and prepare the orders to be shipped. You may also be required to undertake other duties, such as quality control etc. as needed. Candidates will undertake 2 days paid training prior to starting on shift to ensure that you have a sound understanding of the job and the operation. You will also receive close mentoring and support should you have any questions. We want you to succeed and are happy and willing to take the time to help you learn all of the aspects of the role.
This job will be working 3 shifts on and 3 shifts off on a regular basis. The shifts are 12 hours long and operate 6 till 6 EITHER days OR nights. No deductions are made for breaks and you will receive a full 12 hours per shift! Please remember that with 3 on 3 off shift patterns, you will be expected to work occasional weekends as your 3 on will sometimes fall that way.
Our pay rates are as follows:
- Days - 12.91 per hour & 19.37 overtime. (plenty available)
- Nights - 14.01 per hour & 19.37 overtime. (plenty available)
We also offer a pay matrix that increases based on your skill set and if you have any additional FLT licenses etc. You will have an increased hourly rate. We are not looking for candidates that are only seeking 'a job', our client wishes to invest in all new workers and commit to offering permanent positions after an initial qualifying period.
This is a chilled facility and warm clothes will be needed, they are highly experienced in their onboarding processes and new starters are always made to feel welcome, are fully supported and encouraged to succeed.
