We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a well-established Manufacturing and Production company based in Colchester. This is an ongoing temporary position with potential long-term opportunities. This role plays an important part in the day-to-day operations of a busy logistics team and requires a hands-on, adaptable approach.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading vehicles by hand
- Picking and packing components from pick sheets
- Safe packing and labelling of finished products
- Supporting other areas of the warehouse when required
- Occasional use of hand tools
Ideal candidate:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Physically fit & comfortable with manual handling
- Able to follow instructions and work independently
- Flexible and willing to learn and support different areas of the operation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Hours & Pay:
£12.78 per hour, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm
