Duties of the Vehicle Technician

  • Conduct routine vehicle servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards
  • Perform suspension repairs, clutch replacements, and general vehicle diagnostics
  • Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and recommend appropriate repairs
  • Maintain high standards of customer care and workshop discipline as a Vehicle Technician
  • Assist with additional tasks such as welding, cambelt replacements, and MOT testing (desirable but not essential)
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard, adhering to safety regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or comprehensive service technician background
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic procedures
  • Ability to perform routine servicing, suspension, and clutch repairs confidently
  • Welding skills and MOT licence are advantageous but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Positive attitude, good attention to detail, and excellent work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
