Duties of the Vehicle Technician
- Conduct routine vehicle servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards
- Perform suspension repairs, clutch replacements, and general vehicle diagnostics
- Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and recommend appropriate repairs
- Maintain high standards of customer care and workshop discipline as a Vehicle Technician
- Assist with additional tasks such as welding, cambelt replacements, and MOT testing (desirable but not essential)
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard, adhering to safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or comprehensive service technician background
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostic procedures
- Ability to perform routine servicing, suspension, and clutch repairs confidently
- Welding skills and MOT licence are advantageous but not essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Positive attitude, good attention to detail, and excellent work ethic
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
