We are delighted to be working on behalf of a thriving business based in Colchester, who are currently recruiting for a professional Administrator to support their busy team. This is an extremely varied role, where the successful candidate will play a pivotal role within the business, responsible for providing effective and efficient support to ensure the smooth running of the office.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answering telephones and responding to emails as appropriate, dealing with customer queries or forwarding them to the relevant department
  • Making outbound calls to customers in relation to their enquiries
  • Scheduling installations and additional works
  • Updating and maintaining business software, spreadsheets, and trackers
  • Assisting with the creation of marketing materials, including the development of social media and marketing strategies
  • Diary management, including booking travel and accommodation
  • Assisting with fleet management, including booking MOTs, services, and repairs
  • Supporting other departments with ad hoc administrative duties as required by the business

Previous Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven administrative support experience
  • An accurate, methodical approach to work, with excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work calmly under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • A high degree of professionalism, with a strong work ethic
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
