Locations: Venues in Colchester

Pay Rate: 13.00 per hour + Holiday, Pension and Adecco Benefits

Hours: Various - Minimum 4 hr shifts

Duration: Adhoc all year around - Temporary Cover

We are currently recruiting Event Cleaning Staff to support a variety of events at various venues in Colchester. This is a flexible, ad-hoc opportunity, with shifts available throughout the year, primarily on weekends, with some weekday evenings.

The Role

Working as part of the events team, you will help ensure the venue remains clean, safe, and presentable during and after events. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining venue areas during events
  • Clearing tables, collecting glasses, and disposing of waste
  • Keeping walkways and communal areas clean and tidy
  • Assisting with general venue cleaning duties before, during, and after events
  • Responding quickly to spills and maintaining hygiene standards
  • Supporting the wider team to ensure a smooth-running event

Important Information

This role may occasionally involve dealing with sickness. All specialist cleaning supplies will be provided, so applicants must be comfortable carrying out these duties when required.
