Pin Point Recruitment is currently seeking a Class 1 (C+E) Driver / Yard Operative to join a well-established food manufacturing business. This is a varied role offering a balance between driving and on-site yard duties, ideal for candidates who do not want to be on the road full-time.
The Role
- Driving Class 1 vehicles for deliveries and collections
- Supporting operations within the yard when not driving
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- General yard duties as required
- Operating a forklift truck (full in-house training will be provided)
Working Hours
- Variable hours contract with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Drivers are currently working around hours per week, depending on workload
- Hours and days will fit in with the needs of the business
- Weekend work will be required
- Day work only no overnight stays
- When out driving, you can expect to be off-site for 8-10 hours
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Flexible and reliable approach to work
- Willingness to undertake both driving and yard-based duties
- Positive attitude and team player
