Our client, a well-established global manufacturing company, is recruiting for Operatives to join them on a temporary basis for a period of around 6 months. Working hours are 8.00am-4.00pm Monday-Thursday and 8.00am-1.00pm each Friday.

Duties:

  • Supporting operators with daily tasks and processes
  • Reviewing and following job order paperwork
  • Cutting rubber to specified lengths
  • Weighing materials accurately
  • Labelling products and preparing them for storage
  • Storing items correctly on designated shelves
  • Maintaining a clean and organised storage area at all times
  • Ensuring rubber materials, shelves, and storage boxes are kept clean and tidy
  • Updating and maintaining a spreadsheet with rubber stock and weights

Experience/Requirements:

  • Previous manufacturing or production experience required
  • Computer literate with basic IT skills
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
