We are recruiting for a Production Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing business in Coalville. This is a days-based role, leading production teams within a fast-paced environment and driving performance across safety, quality and output.
The business is looking for someone who can genuinely make an impact on the shop floor, confident managing strong personalities, improving standards and getting the best out of the team. Candidates from precision engineering, machining, automotive, aerospace, heavy manufacturing or other industrial production environments are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities- Supervising production teams on a day-to-day basis
- Driving KPI performance across safety, quality and output
- Managing labour and production planning within the department
- Handling performance management and team development
- Supporting continuous improvement activities across production
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Previous experience in a Production Supervisor, Shift Supervisor or Team Leader role
- Strong people management skills and ability to handle challenging personalities
- Manufacturing or engineering background
- Confident driving standards and improving shop floor performance
