Role: CNC Turner Setter / Operator

Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire

Salary: £16.77/hour - £18.20/hour + £564.60-£650 per month shift pay + Overtime available (OTE - £45,000-£50,000)

Hours: Monday – Thursday (4-day week); Week 1-2: 06:45, Week 3-4: 15:00

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and set CNC turning machines
  • Work with Fanuc and Siemens control systems
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Set tools and edit programs
  • Inspect own work using precision measuring equipment
  • Perform basic machine maintenance (TPM)
  • Raise PIRs when required
  • Maintain 5S standards in the work area
  • Handle components, jigs, and fixtures safely
  • Work independently and report to supervision

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in CNC Turning
  • Apprentice trained (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Fanuc/Siemens systems
  • Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
  • Skilled in inspection and quality control
  • Self-motivated with good initiative
