CNC Programmer Outside IR35 Contract ASAP Start Derby

Job Description:

  • Creating CNC Routing / Turning / Milling programs to support fast turnaround AOG and concession orders on a daily basis
  • Offline programming of CNC machines using ALPHA CAM or equivalent CADCAM software
  • Supporting day-to-day engineering requirements across manufacturing operations
  • Working closely with Group & Site Engineers and Programmers to support production and development activities
  • Understanding, troubleshooting and improving NC programs to maximise efficiency and productivity
  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities across machining and programming activities

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications:

  • Extensive CNC / NC / CADCAM / Offline Programming experience
  • Proven programming experience across CNC Routing, Turning and Milling
  • Ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred, although other precision engineering backgrounds will be considered
  • Proven ALPHA CAM experience or equivalent CADCAM software background
