We are looking for an experienced and reliable individual to join our clients growing bespoke manufacturing team. This is a varied hands-on role suited to someone with experience in cabinet spraying, CNC operation and machining within a high-end joinery or furniture manufacturing environment. Bench joinery experience would be a strong advantage.

Benefits:

  • £14.00 - £16.80 per hour depending on experience - Overtime available
  • 40 hour working week - Full-time 40 hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm + Potential overtime and half day finish every Friday

Main Duties:

  • Preparing and spraying bespoke cabinetry and furniture to a high standard
  • Operating CNC machinery and workshop equipment safely and efficiently
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and cutting lists
  • Machining timber and manufactured boards accurately
  • Assembling and finishing bespoke cabinets and furniture
  • Carrying out quality checks throughout production
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment
  • Supporting other areas of the workshop when required
  • Ensuring all work is completed to agreed deadlines and quality standards

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience within bespoke joinery, cabinet making or furniture manufacturing
  • Experience operating CNC machinery and woodworking equipment
  • Knowledge of cabinet spraying techniques and finishing processes
  • Ability to work from technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bench joinery experience desirable but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence beneficial
