Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established, family‑run precision engineering company with over 50 years of manufacturing expertise. Operating from a modern facility, the business delivers complete manufacturing solutions from raw material through to finished components serving high‑spec sectors including aerospace, motorsport, nuclear, and oil & gas. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled team within a quality‑driven environment focused on precision, continuous improvement, and technical development.
Key Responsibilities
- Offline programming using Fusion 360
- Online programming, setting, and operating 4‑axis CNC milling machines (Mazak)
- Manufacturing precision components in small to medium batch sizes (5-150 off)
- Working with aluminium and a range of steels
- Producing parts to tight tolerances (microns)
- Self‑inspection and maintaining high‑quality standards in line with ISO 9001 processes
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across machining processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in CNC milling and programming (Mazak, Fanuc or Conversational)
- Experience with 4‑axis machining
- Competent using Fusion 360 for offline programming (other software considered)
- Ability to machine to tight tolerances
- Experience working with aluminium and steels
