We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join a fast‑paced precision engineering environment. You’ll set and run CNC machines to produce high‑quality components to strict tolerances.
CNC Setter/Operator Key Responsibilities- Set and operate CNC machines efficiently
- Read engineering drawings and edit programs where required
- Inspect parts using measuring equipment (CMM, micrometres, verniers)
- Monitor machine performance and report faults
- Support continuous improvement and quality standards
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist and CNC setting/operating experience; any programming knowledge ideal
- Knowledge of multi‑axis or 5‑axis machining; Mazak & Matsuura preferred
- Experience with FANUC or Mazatrol controls (preferred)
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings
- Ability to work independently and maintain high quality standards
- High variety, low volume experience preferred
