Location: Newark

Salary: 14.00 - 16.80 per hour depending on experience + Overtime Available

We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our client's growing bespoke manufacturing team in Newark. This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and highly organised workshop producing high-end bespoke cabinetry and furniture.

  • 40-hour working week Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
  • Half day finish every Friday
  • Overtime available
  • 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays

Main Duties

  • Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently
  • Machining timber and manufactured boards accurately
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and cutting lists
  • Using woodworking machinery and workshop equipment
  • Carrying out quality checks throughout production
  • Supporting assembly and production where required
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
  • Working to deadlines while maintaining high quality standards

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous CNC machining experience within joinery, cabinet making or furniture manufacturing
  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings
  • Experience using woodworking machinery and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bench joinery experience advantageous but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence beneficial
