A precision engineering manufacturer within an advanced engineering / high-spec manufacturing environment is looking for a CNC Machinist (Milling) to set and operate machining centres, producing high-quality components to tight tolerances.
Responsibilities:
- Set and operate CNC milling machines (Mazak / Fanuc)
- Produce components to engineering drawings and aerospace standards
- Run multiple machines to meet production targets
- Carry out in-process inspection using measuring equipment
- Follow H&S and quality procedures
Qualifications:
- Experience in aerospace or precision engineering manufacturing
- Strong CNC milling (setting & operating) experience
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Experience with inspection tools (micrometres, verniers, gauges)
- Good attention to detail and team working skills
