Keystone Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN) to join a nursing home in Shropshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting new service from the outset, working closely with the Home Manager to ensure the highest standards of clinical care across residential, nursing, and dementia communities.

Location: Shropshire

Hours: Full Time - Supernumerary, with on-call cover every other weekend shared with the Home Manager

Salary: 60,000 - 70,000 per annum (DoE)

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with the Home Manager and multi-disciplinary teams to deliver outstanding care across all four communities within the home.
  • Act as a role model and ambassador for the organisation, upholding company values at all times.
  • Create an environment where residents are valued, respected, and empowered to make personalised choices about their care.
  • Lead on the effective implementation and monitoring of clinical care plans, ensuring they reflect each resident's individual needs.
  • Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, promptly identifying and responding to any changes in their condition.
  • Oversee medicines management, safeguarding procedures, DOLs legislation, and appropriate referral processes.
  • Manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager, maintaining safe and effective operations.
  • Utilise digital care planning systems and strong IT skills to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Support clinical audits and quality monitoring to drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Skills and experience:

  • Active NMC PIN - RGN qualification is essential.
  • Proven experience in a management or senior leadership role within the care industry.
  • Sound knowledge of CQC regulatory requirements and statutory quality monitoring within a care setting.
  • Clear understanding of clinical governance and best practice frameworks.
