The Group Client Relationship Executive will play a pivotal role in helping Ford & Stanley Talent Services Group build and maintain effective relationships with its customers. The role involves liaising between key contacts within client companies and internal heads of service delivery, ensuring customer expectations are managed and Ford & Stanley’s sales promise is delivered.
Working within the Group Sales & Client Development Team, the Executive will raise awareness of Ford & Stanley’s suite of Group services, support the development and expansion of service lines within existing and new client relationships, and ensure customers have Ford & Stanley services on mind when they need them. The role includes establishing clear Service Level Agreements (SLAs) from the outset, revisiting existing SLAs for legacy clients, conducting company discoveries, acting as a conduit between clients and internal recruitment teams, and resolving any misunderstandings or service deltas.
Your first 12 months will involve:
- Understanding all four business areas and articulating their value.
- Building rapport with new colleagues and clients.
- Familiarising with company systems and processes such as Bluesheet/Goldsheet methodology.
- Executing the Group strategy and maintaining smooth service delivery.
- Managing expectations to ensure high NPS ratings.
Key Deliverables within the first 12 months:
- Expand Ford & Stanley’s client base, measured by increased spend and opportunities.
- Demonstrate a proactive problem‑solving approach.
- Be the best at articulating the Group’s offering and train others.
Essential Hard Skills:
- Experience expanding relationships and commercial opportunities across a portfolio of clients.
- B2B background in consultancy services or a solutions environment.
- Driving licence; commute to Derby HQ; car allowance provided.
- Experience representing organisation at trade shows or networking events with demonstrable ROI.
- Degree level education.

Position is based at the Ford & Stanley Head Offices on Pride Park, Derby. Core business hours are 8:30 am – 5:30 pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm Friday. Ad‑hoc home working days are permitted but staff are expected to be in office during business hours.
