To be part of a team providing waste collection services to the residents of the Borough. Responsible for the vehicle, passengers and load of the refuse collection vehicle complying with the relevant transport, waste, and Health & Safety legislation.

Contract Type: Temporary – ongoing

Hourly Rate: 18.92 per hour PAYE, 24.63 per hour UMBRELLA

Driving Required: Yes – Digi Tacho and CPC licence required.

What You'll Do

  • Collect domestic, commercial, and green waste from various locations around the borough.
  • Tipping waste at the local tip, ensuring all materials are disposed of responsibly.
  • Adhering to Health and Safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Wearing steel toe cap boots at all times to protect yourself while on the job.
  • Working the afternoon shift – 2pm to 10pm.

What We're Looking For

  • A valid driving licence (Category C).
  • CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) certification.
  • Digi Tacho training.
  • Previous experience driving HGV vehicles.
