Class 2 Driver Needed - Barrow-in-Furness

Are you an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for a role with great hours and a supportive team? Our client in the Barrow-in-Furness area is looking for one Class 2 Driver to join their crew, operating a Class 2 wagon on a bin collection round. No previous bin-round experience? No problem. Full training is provided - all you need is a valid Class 2 licence and a positive, reliable attitude.

Hours: Tuesday - Friday, 7:00am to 5:30pm (39 hours per week)

Enjoy a long weekend every week with Saturday to Monday off.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Driving a set route across the Barrow area, collecting domestic waste
  • Ensuring bins are emptied safely, efficiently, and on schedule
  • Delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a positive presence in the community
  • Supporting with additional duties when required, including:
    • Assisting with loading/unloading bins onto the wagon
    • Van driving for street cleaning

What We’re Looking For:

  • A valid Class 2 driving licence
  • Previous Class 2 driving experience
  • Good communication skills
  • A strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and great service
