Velocity are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver for their road repair company operating throughout the St Austell area. This role involves driving and manoeuvring a specialist patching machine to road repair sites across St Austell. This is a straightforward driving role with no handballing involved and drivers will not be required to leave the cab during operations.

The Role

  • Driving and manoeuvring the patching machine to various repair locations
  • Working alongside the road repair team across St Austell and surrounding areas
  • Ensuring safe and efficient operation of the vehicle at all times
  • Monday to Friday working pattern with occasional Saturday or Sunday shifts available

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
  • Good awareness of road safety and transport regulations
  • Reliable and punctual attitude
