A&G Resourcing is recruiting on behalf of a well-established food wholesaler based in High Wycombe, who is looking for a Class 2 Driver for ad hoc, day shifts delivering food items to catering businesses.
This is a customer-facing role with sociable hours (Monday to Friday, 10am starts), and no weekend work required.
Key Responsibilities- Delivering food products to catering customers
- Checking goods with customers upon delivery
- Handling payments (cash and cheques)
- Loading and unloading the vehicle (with support from a driver’s mate)
- Providing friendly, professional customer service at every stop
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence (maximum 6 points)
- CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
- Previous experience driving a Class 2 vehicle
- Reliable, hard-working, and customer-focused
- Comfortable with manual handling and interacting with customers
- Pay: £17ph (PAYE), OT paid after 8 hours at £25ph
- Hours: Monday to Friday, approx. 10am - 6pm (may vary)
- No weekends
- Weekly pay
- Parking available nearby (no on-site parking)
- Support provided with a driver’s mate for deliveries
