Class 2 ADR Drivers Wanted Temp to Perm

We urgently need skilled Class 2 LGV (C) drivers to safely transport hazardous goods across Kent and Southeast London.

Position Details

  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Employment Type: Temp to Perm
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, early starts, possible weekend work
  • Location: Based in Dartford RDC, delivering across Kent and Southeast London
  • Pay: £18 - 21 per hour weekly pay

Key Responsibilities

  • Safe Transport of Hazardous Goods: Ensuring ADR‑compliant deliveries in line with UK regulations.
  • Professionalism: Maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle and representing a professional image.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Strict adherence to ADR guidelines, road safety standards, and employer responsibilities under UK law.
  • Customer Service: Delivering goods efficiently and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility with working hours to meet client demands.

Requirements

  • ADR Certification: Valid ADR licence for transporting hazardous materials.
  • Category C+E (Class 1) or Category C (Class 2) Licence: Previous HGV experience required.
  • Minimum Age 23 with 6 Months Driving Experience: Proven track record of safe driving.
  • Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card: Compliance with all industry regulations.
  • Navigation Skills: Ability to use a Sat‑Nav and familiarity with Kent and London roads. Country and Rural Driving included.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintaining safety and accuracy in transport procedures.
  • Up-to‑Date Knowledge of Health & Safety Procedures: Ensuring best practices on the road.
