Role Overview

Aspion are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Class 1 Night Driver to join our transport team operating across the Liverpool area. The role involves the safe and timely movement of containers and curtain-sided trailers, ensuring deliveries and collections are completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. This position is ideal for a motivated driver who is comfortable with night work, flexible with routes, and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently during night shifts.
  • Carry out container and curtain-sided trailer deliveries and collections across ports, warehouses, and customer sites.
  • Ensure all deliveries and collections are completed within scheduled times.
  • Secure loads correctly and ensure compliance with transport regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate transport paperwork and delivery documentation.
  • Comply with all Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service at all times.
  • Follow all company health and safety procedures.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred.
  • Experience with containers and curtain-sided trailers advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of driving regulations and road safety standards.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Flexible and reliable approach to work.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.

Licences and Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
  • Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Dock Card preferred but not essential.
