Long‑term, regular day work full‑time immediate starts. Staffline is recruiting a Class 1 driver to work with Trunking LST – Long‑Steer Trailers based in Marsh Leys, Bedford. Ongoing, year‑round work with guaranteed minimum pay of 8 hours per shift. Overtime is paid after 48 hours worked. 12 months experience required.
Shift Schedule
- 2 drivers needed – shifts Monday to Friday.
- Day shift start at 14:00, night shift start at 19:30.
- Typical shift length 10–12 hours.
- Shifts available 5 days a week; part‑time drivers welcome if weekend day is included.
Pay Rates
- Day shift – £18.06 per hour.
- Night shift – £19.22 per hour.
- Overtime day – £22.57 per hour.
- Overtime night – £24.03 per hour.
- Payments are made weekly via PAYE.
Work Environment
- HGV Class 1 Trunking.
- Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed.
- Free on‑site parking and canteen.
- Work available all year round.
Qualifications
- Valid Category C + E driving licence with 12 months experience.
- Driver CPC and valid DQC card.
- Good communication skills, basic literacy and numeracy.
- Reliable, flexible approach to work.
- Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules.
- Availability to work 5 out of 7 shifts per week.
