Gi Group are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to support the transport operation of a well known parcel distribution company. If you're confident behind the wheel and adaptable to different routes, we'd love to hear from you.

Shift Details

  • Shifts available: Monday to Sunday – Various start times between 12:00‑20:00.
  • Basic Pay – £20.34
  • Saturday – £26.36
  • Sunday – £29.42
  • Overtime rates are also available

What we're looking for

  • Category C+E Licence, DIGI and CPC card
  • 12 months experience driving Class 1 vehicles
  • Clean driving licence record with no more than 6 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)

Job role

  • RDC Trunking around different locations
  • 1‑4 drops per shift
  • Handballing may be required, but a majority loads do not require it
  • Ensure that the Company's health and safety standards and practices are followed

Technical skills

  • Able to follow instructions, work to deadlines independently
  • Be comfortable driving Class 1 vehicles in different sites
  • Computer literate, customer friendly and helpful at all times
