Gi Group are recruiting Class 1 Drivers to support the transport operation of a well known parcel distribution company. If you're confident behind the wheel and adaptable to different routes, we'd love to hear from you.
Shift Details
- Shifts available: Monday to Sunday – Various start times between 12:00‑20:00.
- Basic Pay – £20.34
- Saturday – £26.36
- Sunday – £29.42
- Overtime rates are also available
What we're looking for
- Category C+E Licence, DIGI and CPC card
- 12 months experience driving Class 1 vehicles
- Clean driving licence record with no more than 6 penalty points (subject to endorsement codes)
Job role
- RDC Trunking around different locations
- 1‑4 drops per shift
- Handballing may be required, but a majority loads do not require it
- Ensure that the Company's health and safety standards and practices are followed
Technical skills
- Able to follow instructions, work to deadlines independently
- Be comfortable driving Class 1 vehicles in different sites
- Computer literate, customer friendly and helpful at all times
