Morson Edge are working with a tier 1 contractor who are seeking a Section Engineer to join their Civils/Water division.

Location: Hampton

Salary: £50k to £55k + Package

The Role: The purpose of this role is to provide site engineering duties to a number of projects within the region. The Site Engineer will establish the level and survey control for contracts and set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring that checks are made on a regular basis.

Essential Skills:

  • Previous experience in setting out on civil engineering projects
  • Experience in deep water Infra Civil Engineering, including deep and trenchless drainage
  • Competent in the management of Temporary works
  • Good knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations
  • Fully conversant with the use of robotic total station or EDM instruments
  • Degree qualified/HNC (or equivalent) in civil engineering
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Competent in management of information controls and RFI process to consultant
  • Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook
  • CSCS SMSTS

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in using AutoCAD and MS Office
  • MEICA experience
  • Underground service detection
  • Lifting Appointed person
  • NRSWA Supervisor
  • Confined spaces
  • Medium Risk Temporary-works coordination
  • Cable avoidance training
  • First aid training
  • NEBOSH or IOSH
