The predicted salary is between 45000 - 50000 £ per year.

Our client is a leading manufacturer within their industry with further plans to expand and develop their business in the coming years. To aid with this growth, and to support their Managing Director, they are looking for an NPI Engineer to focus on developing and nurturing new products from concept, into production, and product launch.

On a day-to-day basis you will work in a small New Product Development team, who develop innovative cutting-edge products within certain markets. Your role will be to take these potential products through prototyping, internal and customer field testing, and then into product launch. You will be involved in every stage of this process, as well as working with the customers pre and post product launch.

Key NPI Engineer experience:

  • Previous experience of working in NPD or NPI environment preferably within a manufacturing or industrial engineering capacity
  • Experience of managing product lifecycle, from early design conception, through the R&D, prototype, testing, introduction to production, and product launch
  • Ideally a mechanical or materials science degree or equivalent work experience
  • The ability to work cross functionally, working with design, sales, production and customers
  • Ideally some knowledge of CAD software
  • Strong administrative skills and IT literacy
  • Approachable nature and enjoy liaising with people
  • You will need to demonstrate a passion for new product development
  • A willingness to roll your sleeves up and help out with product development and testing

Our client is offering an excellent salary of £60k to £70k with the following bonus benefit: Bonus Company Bonus scheme (0.25% of company net profit) (after successful completion of probation).
