An established multidisciplinary practice is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Senior or Associate Architect to join its growing Chester office. This opportunity is ideally suited to an ambitious individual with a minimum of several plus post-Part 3 experience who is looking to take an active role in the continued growth and development of a collaborative, design-focused team.

The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of complex medium and large-scale projects across multiple sectors, including education, commercial, institutional, and leisure. This is a full-time, office-based position working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with regular travel required for client meetings, site visits, and project inspections.

Daily Duties:

  • Leading and managing architectural projects across a range of sectors
  • Supporting both the creative design process and technical delivery of projects
  • Coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and wider project teams
  • Producing, reviewing, and managing technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
  • Presenting design concepts and technical solutions internally and externally
  • Assisting with business development and contributing to the growth of the Chester office
  • Ensuring projects are delivered to a high technical and design standard
  • Overseeing works on site as projects progress

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Architect with a minimum of several plus years' post-qualification experience
  • Strong experience across all RIBA work stages
  • Excellent technical knowledge, including UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
  • Proven ability to run and deliver projects independently
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organisational skills
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Proficient in Revit with demonstrable project experience
  • Ambitious, proactive, and motivated to progress professionally
