Location: Ellesmere Port
Hours: Monday to Friday daytime flexible start/finish (7-3, 8-4, 9-5 etc)
The Job:
- Responsible for all maintenance work on site to be carried out safely, in compliance with HSE regulations (PTW, waste regulations, risk assessments etc.)
- Management of all statutory inspections including PSSR, LOLER and Compex.
- Management of contractors (e.g. civil, scaffold).
- Development of maintenance KPIs using CMMS, with focus on evolving the proactive versus reactive maintenance approach.
- Reporting into & deputising for Site Engineering Manager in their absence.
- Become Site Responsible Electrical Engineer.
- Support in the planning and delivery of the annual plant shutdown.
The Person:
- Degree, HND, HNC level electrical engineering or similar.
- Heavy engineering experience, DCS systems, chemicals, power.
- Able to manage a small team, e.g. 2 supervisors and 5-10 technicians and fitters.
- Good interpersonal skills - communication, stakeholder engagement.
Nice to have but not essential:
- Top tier COMAH.
- Cyber security knowledge.
