Vector is currently seeking Gully/Drainage Operatives to join our client, a fast growing drainage contractor, at their depot near Cheshunt. This will begin on a temporary basis with a view to permanent employment.

In this role, you will work in tandem with an HGV Driver as part of a two-person team. Your primary responsibility will be operating a vacuum hose and jetting equipment to clear roadside drains, ensuring they remain unblocked. This job is physically demanding due to the frequent lifting of drain covers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within drainage or highways is desirable but not essential.
  • Access to personal transportation, as the depot is not easily reachable via public transit.

Shifts:

  • Monday to Friday – 50 hours per week.
  • Day and night shifts available.

Day: 06:00 – 16:00

Night: 20:00 – 06:00

Pay:

  • Days – £13.00 per hour (PAYE)
  • Nights – £16.25 per hour (PAYE)
