We are recruiting for a talented and customer-focused Kitchen Designer to join a premium homeware and interiors brand based in Buckinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual with a strong commercial outlook who enjoys managing customer projects from concept through to completion while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will combine design expertise, presentation skills and project coordination to create inspiring kitchen solutions, and occasionally other interior designing, working closely with customers, colleagues and installation teams throughout the journey.

The Role
  • Meet with customers in-store to understand their lifestyle, needs and vision, creating tailored design briefs.
  • Produce inspiring kitchen concepts, consultations and sketches on the shop floor.
  • Create professional design presentations and customer packs to brand standards using AutoKitchen and design software.
  • Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, communication and administration are handled efficiently.
  • Coordinate projects with store colleagues and installation teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Conduct site surveys where required.
  • Support the wider store team with customer enquiries and showroom activity.
  • Accurately process customer information, quotations and payments using internal systems.
  • Provide regular project updates to the Regional Designer.
  • Support with keyholder responsibilities including opening and closing the showroom.
About You
  • Previous experience within a Kitchen Designer or Interior Designer role.
  • Experience using AutoCAD, AutoKitchen or similar design software.
  • Strong project coordination and organisational skills with the ability to manage several projects at once.
  • Creative mindset combined with strong commercial awareness.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and customer service skills.
  • Confident working collaboratively within a retail and design environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Friendly, professional and confident in approach.
