Salary: 32,000 - 35,000 DOE

Job Type: Full-time Permanent

Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days working from home per week after successful probation)

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Support month-end and year-end processes
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, journals, accruals, and prepayments
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Analyse financial data and investigate variances
  • Maintain accurate financial records and reporting
  • Support audit preparation and compliance requirements
  • Process and manage financial information using Sage
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and financial support to the wider business

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience within an Assistant Management Accountant or similar finance role
  • Strong working knowledge of Sage
  • Good understanding of management accounting processes
  • AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA/CIMA (desirable)
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
