Would you like to work in Cheltenham for a market leading Civil Engineering Consultancy who specialise in infrastructure designs for residential, commercial, industrial and bespoke developments across the UK? If you have drainage and infrastructure design experience then this could be the role for you! This exciting Principal Infrastructure Engineering opportunity will offer you the chance to complete varied residential, bespoke builds, extensions, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments across the UK. You will join an experienced team based across South West and work on a hybrid basis to manage multiple projects from pre planning to construction phases for both Private and Public Sector Clients.

Responsibilities

  • Check, review and complete Flood Risk Assessments.
  • Prepare Surface Water Management Plans.
  • Develop Drainage Strategies.
  • Provide Drainage Design for mixed use developments using Site3D and Causeway Flow.
  • Create detailed designs for residential developments in respect of S278, S38, S104 and S106.
  • Design access roads for housing developments.
  • Design highway drainage.
  • Project management of multiple projects.
  • Mentor and manage staff, checking technical designs before submission.
  • Liaise with Clients to discuss project development and design clashes.
  • Develop new business opportunities with new and existing Clients.

Qualifications

  • Background in civil or environmental engineering.
  • Experience working for a UK based Consultancy specialising in drainage, sewerage, SuDS and access road designs for residential, commercial and industrial developments.
  • Experience completing flood risk assessments and surface water management plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential for writing reports and liaising with Clients.
