We are looking for a full time Class 2 Driver to start in Cheltenham for a temp to perm opportunity paying an annual salary of £38,329 working 4 days a week (Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday) on a 45 hour a week contract. Overtime is available after 45 hours, immediate start available, experienced or new pass drivers welcome. This is a manual role and handballing of cages and pallet truck on a tail lift.
We're currently recruiting for a reliable and professional HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join a leading company based in Cheltenham. This position offers a 45 hour a week contract with the option of further overtime with a permanent opportunity available for the right candidate.
The Role:
- Drive a Rigid vehicle for multi-drop deliveries and collections.
- Complete 5-10 Handball deliveries per day.
- Use of tail lift and pallet truck will be required.
- There will also be a requirement to pull cages.
- Complete all delivery notes and paperwork accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
- Maintain vehicles in a satisfactory and safe condition.
What We're Looking For:
- A valid UK Class 2 (Cat C) driving license.
- CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
- Maximum of 9 penalty points (minor offences only).
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling when required.
- Available for 06:00 AM starts, Monday to Friday.
- A positive, flexible, and can-do attitude.
Pay & Benefits:
- £38,329 per annum after 45 hours overtime.
