Your new role
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the day‑to‑day finance operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Carrying out bank and statement reconciliations
- Assisting with supplier payment runs
- Handling finance queries
You will also work with multiple currencies, ensuring accurate processing and reconciliation across international transactions. This is a fully office‑based, permanent position with an ASAP start, working 37.5 hours per week.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in a Finance Assistant or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Experience working with multiple currencies
- AAT Level 4 qualification (or working towards it) would be beneficial
- Experience using Sage 200 would be highly desirable
- Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
